About EDAC
The Entrepreneurial Development & Assistance Center has played a major role in introducing entrepreneurship across campus and within the community for 22 years.
Mission
Connect budding and existing entrepreneurs to resources for venture management and growth.
EDAC carries that out through four programs: CASE for collegiate entrepreneurs, WOMEN for women running businesses, the RIDE Entrepreneurship Center for people coming home from incarceration, and Title III for the wider community.

The team
Omar S. Muhammad
Director
An entrepreneurship ecosystem builder who has been at it since he was twelve. He has managed loan funds and built business programming, serves on the board of the Technology Development Corporation of Maryland, wrote a business column for six years, and has hosted a radio show for more than twenty-two. He holds master's degrees in technology entrepreneurship and in accounting. He has four daughters and two granddaughters.

Yvette Racks
Executive Assistant
An administrative professional with more than twenty years of experience and a former Toastmaster, which shows. She works on youth advocacy and public speaking, sits on local committees including E.Y.E. for Change, and co-chaired the W.O.M.E.N. conference. A Baltimore resident and an aspiring entrepreneur herself, she spends her free time reading and with family.
